Nice duck, Mr. President

December 16th, 2008

On behalf of Muslims for America, we respect the rights of all journalists to disagree with President Bush, but we find it unprofessional  for a journalist to voice their opinion in that way. Protesting policies with a pen or keyboard instead of a size ten shoe is what Islam teaches of tolerance and respect to others.  If Saddam was still president of Iraq, this journalist, Muntadar al-Zeidi, a correspondent for Al-Baghdadia television, an Iraqi-owned station based in Cairo, Egypt would have likely been killed.   This is a positive sign of a budding democracy in the Middle East. Also, nice duck, Mr. President.
